Camp Olmsted, a residential summer camping program, is accredited by the American Camping Association
and licenced by the Orange County Department of Health. Our program consists of four 12-day sessions
starting the end of June for up to 80 campers per session.
Children ages 6 through 13 are eligible to participate.
The Camp offers a great program and a real good time in a beautiful setting next to
the Hudson river and at the base of Storm King Mountain. Life skills and
Christian spiritual development are nurtured through physical, social, artistic,
domestic, educational, environmental and outdoor camping program content. The
pool, boating on the Hudson River, the Universal Challenge Course and recreation
activities interweave with cooking, crafts, performing arts, education and natural
sciences in a colorful tapestry of summer fun.
Camp Olmsted's facilities include cabins, platform tents, a dining hall, a retreat house, a
swimming pool (shown below), tennis court and an exciting high and low ropes challenge course (shown on the home page).
