Overlooking the majestic Hudson River Valley at the northern gateway to the Hudson Highlands, our seventy-six acre campus adjoins almost 5,000 acres of parkland and nature preserve. Storm King Mountain guards over you during your stay here. The natural habitat is accessible through a system of trails and augmented with recreational opportunities in the form of tennis, play fields, a basketball court, volleyball, an outdoor pool, and our team and self-esteem building Universal Challenge Course. Local area destinations include: Storm King Art Center, The West Point Military Academy, Bannerman's Castle, Museum of the Hudson Highlands and the world renown Woodbury Commons Outlet.     Facilities: The Retreat Ministry at Olmsted Center offers two large retreat houses. The two houses can accommodate groups of up to 50 guests. In the Kirkwood House, a recently renovated Victorian house shown on the right, the ten bedrooms are heated and air-conditioned and are furnished with two single beds. Bathrooms adjoin the bedrooms. The Kirkwood house also has a sitting area and meeting room. The Kirkwood dining room is shown below. Retreat House

    In the Manor House there are fifteen bedrooms with bathrooms located conveniently near each room. The manor house has a dining room and two meeting areas for breakout sessions. The Manor house also has access to Internet for guests with WiFi enabled laptops.

    Three spacious cabins are also available from Sept through mid June for your use. Each cabin hosts up to 23 guest with three large bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a community room. There is a centrally located dining hall which doubles as a meeting space for larger group gatherings. Come for a day, an overnight, a weekend or a week and enjoy the intimate setting with home cooked meals for a unique and memorable experience.
