From the East and West: Interstate 84 to exit 10 (coming east), 10S (coming west). Get on 9W South through Newburgh. Proceed approximately 5 miles to Route 218. Take 218 on right. At flashing light, turn left. You will be on Rt. 218, which winds through the village of Cornwall-on-Hudson. From the caution light, the camp is between 1.5 to 2 miles on your right. After the caution light, you will see the firehouse on your right, Village Pizza on your left and you will come to a sharp curve "Y" intersection. Bear to the right onto Bay View Avenue. Soon you will see a white rail fence on your right and a white mailbox with "114" on it. Enter through the archway for the manor house and cabins. Kirkwood house is past the archway, the second driveway on your right. (large, brown Victorian house with "Kirkwood" sign in front.
From the North: Take the Thruway or Taconic Parkway to I-84, then follow directions from East/West.
From the South (East side of the Hudson): Take either the George Washington Bridge (upper level) or Tappan Zee Bridge to the Palisades Parkway. Go north on the Parkway (about 36 miles from the GW Bridge) until the Parkway ends at the Bear Mountain Traffic Circle. FROM BEAR MOUNTAIN CIRCLE take 9W north about 11 miles to the Angola Road exit. Go right on Angola Road to the Cornwall traffic circle. Exit traffic circle on Main Street (3rd right). At the second traffic light bear right on Hudson Street. Hudson Street joins route 218 at the caution light. Follow directions above From the caution light.
From the South (West of the Hudson): Follow signs for the New Jersey Turnpike (I-95) North. Follow signs for the George Washington Bridge (LOCAL) until you see a sign for 9W. Take this exit. At the light make a left turn. Stay to the right and pass a gas station. Look for the brown sign for the Palisades Parkway. Go North on the Palisades about 36 miles until the parkway ends at the Bear Mountain Circle. Follow directions above FROM BEAR MOUNTAIN CIRCLE.
From the South via New York State Thruway: Take the Thruway north to the Harriman Exit (#16). Immediately after toll, exit right onto Rt. 32. Proceed north approximately 10 miles to light at Orange County Road 107. Proceed right up hill (follow sign for hospital) into Cornwall. Go to and around traffic circle and down the main street of Cornwall. At the second traffic light bear right on Hudson Street. Hudson Street joins Route 218 at the caution light. Follow directions above From the caution light.
By Train from Grand Central Station: Take the Metro-North Hudson Line from NYC to Beacon Station. (approximately 20 minutes from Olmsted Center)
By Train from Hoboken: Take the Metro-North train to Salisbury Mills/Cornwall Station. (approximately 10 minutes from Olmsted Center)
By Bus: The SHORTLINE bus from Port Authority in New York City stops at Vails Gate (next to McDonald's). (approximately 5 minutes from Olmsted Center)
By Air: Stewart International Airport, Newburgh is a short drive from the camp. Car rental and taxi are available. (approximately 15 minutes from Olmsted Center)

If you are staying in the Kirkwood house: Follow the directions above until you come to the white archway at the entrance to the camp. At that point you will proceed past the camp entrance on Rt. 218. The Kirkwood House is the second house on the right past the camp entrance. It is a brown house and the driveway is on the opposite side of the house from the camp. When you pull in the drive, you may unload luggage at the side of the house, but should immediately proceed to the left into the parking lot to park your vehicle.
If you are staying in the Manor house: Follow the directions to the camp as indicated above, turning right and going through the white archway and proceed up the driveway. The Manor House is the first house on your right. You may unload luggage at the front of the house, but should immediately park your vehicle in a parking space to the left or right of the house. If no spaces are available when you arrive, you will need to go back to the driveway and continue into the camp. Take the next right and park in this area. From this parking area you may enter the Manor House from the back by walking up the sidewalk and up the steps. PLEASE DO NOT BLOCK THE DUMPSTER.THANKS!
If you are staying as a Cabin Guest: Follow the directions to the camp as indicated above, turning right and going through the white archway and proceed up the driveway. Continue between the two white houses and onto the gravel driveway. If you need to unload food/materials at the Lindsley Dining Hall (also meeting room), take your first right past the white house (Manor House). If you want to unload baggage at the cabins first, continue on the gravel road. The first cabin you come to is Wesley, which will be on your left. If you continue to the "T" (crossroad), you will see Hosier Cabin to your right and Asbury Cabin to your left. You may unload your belongings, but parking is not permitted at cabin sites. You will need to go back to the parking area outside the dining hall. PLEASE DO NOT BLOCK THE DUMPSTER. THANKS!
